Ensure your child's health and well-being with our compassionate pediatric care, delivered by a team of dedicated professionals. Watch your little one grow and thrive, supported by our expert guidance and nurturing approach.
Our pediatric clinicians provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care to ensure your child's health and well-being.
We provide high-quality healthcare for all children regardless of payment source or immigration status.
As children enter adolescence, in consultation with our pediatric clinicians, we will discuss the transition to our family medicine clinicians as their needs become more adult in nature. Our pediatric and family medicine clinicians work together to make the transition easy for the patient.
Pediatric services are offered at our Broadway, Houston Street, West Gentry, Jacksonville, and Athens clinics. Call for an appointment 903-535-9041 or walk into one of our clinics.
At each well-child visit, we will review weight, height, and BMI to determine how your child is growing. We will check blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing. We will conduct a head-to-toe physical exam. An FCC provider will ask you questions and listen to any concerns you have about your child’s health and development. FCC will screen your child for meeting developmental milestones according to Texas Health Steps and CDC guidance. We will explain, recommend, and give to your child any immunizations that are due and that you approve for your child. We participate in the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) Program to ensure that all children are able to receive vaccines at low or no cost.
For each age stage, there are additional age-specific well-child questions, screenings, labs, and discussions at your visit.
It is FCC’s goal to improve the parent/caregiver experience at medical appointments for your child. We are partners in your child’s health. Below are links to CDC and Texas developmental milestone information. Please review this information and make note of any questions you have about your child’s development to remind yourself to discuss any concerns with our medical staff.
